Gary Wilson is best known for his 1977 album “You Think You Really Know Me”, after which he promptly retired from recording and performing concerts. He holds a cult following and the likes of The Roots, Questlove, Matt Groening (yeah, the guy that made The Simpsons), Peanut Butter Wolf (Stones Throw) and Beck, who shouts Wilson in “Where It’s At (Two Turntables And A Microphone)”, are all fans of his material. Now, Gary Wilson tours Europe.
We’ll be on the road with Gary from today, as he makes his way across Europe throughout the month of May:
MAY 17 – COLOGNE, DE @ Stecken
MAY 18 – UTRECHT, NL @ Le Guess Who festival at ACU
MAY 19 – ROTTERDAM, NL @ Worm
MAY 21 – LONDON, UK @ The Shacklewell Arms
MAY 22 – BRISTOL, UK @ Start the Bus
MAY 23 – MADRID, SP@ Centro de Arte

Team Elephant Riders have just finished an extensive tour with modern indie-pop dance party Darwin Deez. Hitting venues across the length and breadth of the country, the Darwin Deez UK tour kicked off at Manchester’s The Ritz music venue and wound up at metropolitan music festival, Live at Leeds.
Hopefully you managed to drop in on one of the tour dates. For those of you that managed to sneak a photo of the Elephant Riders crew, one of our tour vans, or any good shots of the band; post them to our Facebook page.
If you missed the chance to catch Darwin and the guys on tour, be sure to check out the Elephant Riders dream team of Darwin Deez + Friends at New Slang (London) on July 19th, 2013.
We have been touring with Friends for three weeks around Europe playing loads of cool festivals in Norway, Sweden, Portugal,…
Only three festivals to go, Jersey Live Festival, Berlin Fest and Bestival!
